| All parents and students receive a formal school report for each semester (half year) commenting on student progress in academic performance and learning outcomes. These reports are mailed or distributed to parents directly. If required, separate copies can be sent to individual parents. Stage 4 reports (years 7 and 8) profile student achievement by describing how successfully students have achieved the course outcomes listed on the reports. A learning profile reflects the student's attitude towards learning in and out of the classroom. Stage 5 reports (years 9 and 10) profile student achievement by describing how successfully students have achieved course outcomes, what mark range they have achieved and a broad comparison with their cohort. A learning profile reflects the student's attitude towards learning in and out of the classroom. Stage 6 reports (years 11 and 12) profile student achievement measured by marks given for exam and/or course performance. Students are ranked within their class or course based on achievements according to the assessment program for each course. A learning profile reflects the student's attitude towards learning in and out of the classroom. All enquiries about reports should be directed to the year adviser or school office. Parents are invited to parent-teacher nights to discuss the reports and the progress of students after the issue of the first reports. Notice of these evenings is given in the College Bulletin, by mail or through students. Bookings are made prior to the evening by students who approach their teachers with requested times. Staff at our school are willing to provide advice and support for students and parents at any time. TOP | |
